Activ Adventures is licenced by the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award to run Bronze, Silver and Gold expeditions for schools and youth groups. We run high quality walking and canoeing expeditions across the UK from the Surrey Hills to the mountains of the Lake District and Snowdonia.
We pride ourselves on a personal approach to group expeditions and use of experienced instructors to offer safe, enjoyable and memorable DofE expeditions.
We believe that every young person should have the opportunity to learn and explore, play and enjoy outdoor activities and adventure in safe, exciting environments. It is the impact of quality, shared adventure experiences in our incredibly beautiful and diverse environment that help drive our sense of adventure, our acceptance and judgement of risk, and our knowledge of environmental issues.
Activ Adventures has continued to expand and our development is an ongoing process and is at the heart of our commitment to provide children with great experiences.
Activ Adventures run a very successful activity expedition aimed at our new students in Year 7. Their highly professional administrative system ensures that all expeditions run really smoothly, and their enthusiastic and sympathetic staff are always highly rated by our students.

Activ Adventures have been a fantastically professional and flexible partner to Emanuel School. They have made DOE expeditions enormously less stressful from the point of view of school staff. We now have entire year groups taking part in the award, running up to three simultaneous expeditions at a time, and we could not possibly staff this scale of activity without the support of Activ Adventures.
