Activ Adventures has a growing team of highly qualified and enthusiastic outdoor leaders, with enhanced CRB checks and years of experience with schools and youth groups. Leaders hold a Basic Expedition Leader (BEL), Walking Group Leader (WGL), Mountain Leader (ML), or Mountain Instructor Award (MIA) qualification, as well as a current First Aid certificate and other outdoor qualifications. All our assessors are qualified under the DofE Assessor Accreditation scheme.
Our Passion
Our passion for the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme extends from our experience that the expeditions should be fun and rewarding in order to foster great memories and shared experiences, which in turn can help promote lifelong participation. The first and most impressionable steps for many participants are often those taken within the DofE Award programme.
